## Description

Glengarry Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Dietitian to join us on a casual basis. 
 About the Role 
 This role will see you supporting various wards within the hospital including rehabilitation, medical, care awaiting placement, oncology and palliative care. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based nutrition and dietetic services.
 Key Responsibilities 
 Provide an effective nutrition and dietetic service to patients within legislative, evidence-based practice, education, and clinical competency frameworks.
 Deliver dietetic services across all areas of the hospital, with close collaboration with Food Services/Catering.
 Provide group education programs as required.
 Support the relevant Manager/Managers in the effective delivery of dietetic services across the hospital.
 Contribute to achieving individual, team, and departmental goals, ensuring alignment with organisational vision, mission, and values.
 Provide education and training to undergraduate students, junior dietetic staff, and broader multidisciplinary staff as appropriate.
 About You:  
 Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics, or a Bachelor of Science with a postgraduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics, or equivalent qualification.
 Eligibility for membership with Dietitians Australia and Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status.
 Registration with the Dietitian Board (as applicable).
 Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to perform effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
 Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
 Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving ability, and creative thinking.
 Advanced clinical knowledge and skills relevant to the specialty area.
 Strong understanding of relevant accreditation standards and a commitment to continuous quality improvement.
 Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and establish measurable departmental objectives
