# Privacy policy

> The short, honest version: we collect almost nothing, and what we do collect exists only to send you the newsletter you asked for.

## What we collect

If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your **email address** (and your region preference, if you choose one) — and every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. The job board itself needs no account: browsing, searching and filtering don't require any personal information. We also collect **usage analytics** — pages viewed, searches run, visit counts — to understand how the board is used.

## How we use it

Your email is used for one thing: sending you the newsletter you asked for. Usage statistics are only ever looked at in aggregate — which pages get read, which searches find nothing — to make the board better. We never sell your data and never share it with third parties for their marketing.

## Who processes it

Newsletter delivery runs on [Loops](https://loops.so) (a US email service), the site is hosted on [Vercel](https://vercel.com), which keeps standard server logs (IP address, requested page) for security and operations, and anonymous usage statistics are handled by [PostHog](https://posthog.com) on their EU cloud. All three act as processors on our behalf.

## Cookies & tracking

Analytics runs on [PostHog](https://posthog.com). On your first visit a small prompt asks whether we may use an analytics cookie: accept, and PostHog remembers your browser between visits; decline, and nothing is stored on your device — visits are then only counted anonymously. We use no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. Search and filters run entirely in your browser; your filter choices live in the page URL so you can share them. If we ever introduce advertising, we'll update this policy and ask for consent first where the law requires it.

## Job listings

Listings are public information published by employers on their own career sites and official feeds. If a listing contains personal information about you (for example a recruiter contact) and you'd like it removed, get in touch and we'll take it down.

## Your rights

Every newsletter has a one-click **unsubscribe** link, which removes you from the list. You can also ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it entirely — reply to any of our emails and we'll do it. If you're in the EU/UK, these are your GDPR rights of access, rectification and erasure; we honour them for everyone, everywhere.
